DESCRIPTION:
This package contains the DisplayLink integrated driver/application software for
the HP U160 LED Backlit LCD USB Monitor. The HP U160 DisplayLink USB software
can be used on PCs from Netbooks, Notebooks/Laptops to Desktops.
The performance of the software is dependent upon the processing power
available, as well as the operating system in use. More capable systems will
provide better performance.
HP U160 DisplayLink software is available for PCs running one of the following
Microsoft Windows operating systems:
- Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit)
- Windows 8.0 (32-bit or 64-bit)
- Windows 8.1 (32-bit or 64-bit)

The Windows Experience Index (WEI) is a useful measure of hardware level. The
WEI is accessible from Computer > Properties, or from Control Panel > System
The recommended typical hardware requirements for the PC are:
- WEI score of at least 3 in the "Graphics; Desktop performance for Windows
Aero" category.
- Overall WEI score of at least 3 as recommended by Microsoft.
- At least one USB 2.0 port.
- 30 megabytes (MB) of free disk space.
- Network access for software downloads, or access to a CD-ROM drive.
If the PC specification is below this, performance will be lower (or CPU loading
higher than acceptable).
HOW TO USE:
1. Download the file by clicking the "Download" or "Obtain Software" button and
saving the file to a folder on your hard drive (make a note of the folder where
the downloaded file is saved).
2. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. When
prompted, click the "Next" button if you agree to the License Agreement.
3. Type a new location to which the setup files should be extracted, or just
click the "Next" button to use the default location. The copying process will
begin. After copying is complete, the DisplayLink USB installer application will
run. Follow the on-screen instructions.
NOTE: After the files have been installed, the file downloaded in Step 1 can be
deleted, if desired.
