- Updates the firmware to version LB3i for the Intel SSD 520 Series models. - Updates the firmware to version 4PC10365 for the Intel SSD 320 Series models. - Updates the firmware to versions 2CV102M3 and 2CV102M6 for the Intel X25-M and X18-M Mainstream SSD Series models. - Provides the ability to update the firmware while the Microsoft Windows operating system is running. - Provides the ability to update the firmware when the full-disk encryption is installed. - Updates firmware with Windows Operating Systems running. - Updates firmware when full disk encryption is installed. - Provides the bootable CD-ROM ISO images to update firmware on local systems and on non-Windows operating systems. For the Intel SSD 520 Series models: - Provides improved PHY margin setting to prevented losing the link to the SATA drive. - Provides the response time when the system resumes from sleep (S3) mode. NOTE: The IntelSSDUpdateWin.exe utility is easily deployed using the '-s' and '-r' switches to provide an unattended install ('-s') or to automatically reboot ('-r'). |

For the Intel X25-M and X18-M Mainstream SSD Series models: - Fixes an issue where the system does not recognize the drive. - Fixes an issue where the system displays the "Imminent Drive Failure" message during the BIOS Power On Self Test (POST). - Fixes an issue where the notebook unexpectedly restarts while running the Microsoft Windows operating system. - Fixes an intermittent issue where the system does not restart (reboot) and displays the "Boot device not found" error message after resuming from hibernation mode. For the Intel SSD 320 Series models: - Fixes an intermittent issue where the system does not restart (reboot) and displays the "Boot device not found" error message after resuming from hibernation mode. - Fixes an issue where data is not completely saved to the hard drive and is lost when the system is suddenly powered off. |

HOW TO USE: |
1. Download the file by clicking the "Download" or "Obtain Software" button and saving the file to a folder on your hard drive (make a note of the folder where the downloaded file is saved). To run the utility locally under Windows: 1. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. To deploy the utility to your enterprise: 1. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 2. Go to the directory where you just saved the files from the SoftPaq. My default this directory location is C:\SWSetup\SP61213. 3. Use the IntelSSDUpdateWin.exe utility in combination with the '-s' (unattended) and '-r' (reboot) switches to deploy Intel SSD firmware updates. 4. See the file ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp61001-61500/sp61213.cva for the IntelSSDUpdateWin.exe return codes. To use the bootable CD-ROM ISO images: 1. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 2. Go to the directory where you just saved the files from the SoftPaq. My default this directory location is C:\SWSetup\SP61213. 3. The CD-ROM ISO images can be found under the ISO directory in the above directory from step number 2. 4. The ISO image in "ISO\X18, X25, & 320 Series\0811036202M388208850.ISO" is for the X18-M, X25-M and 320 Series Intel SSD drives. The ISO image in "ISO\520 Series\issdfut_2.0.1_HP_Only.ISO" is for the 520 Series Intel SSD drives. 5. Burn the ISO image that you need to use to a CD disc using a suitable disk image utility. 6.
