FIXES: |
- Fixes a timing issue inadvertently introduced by the Intel ICH8M Chipset, which causes the Gigabit Ethernet Controller (Network Interface Controller [NIC]) to be loaded with an incorrect device identifier. If a previous system BIOS version is installed, a one time reenumeration of the NIC occurs. NOTE: For more information, see the HP Customer Advisory titled "HP Notebook PCs - Select HP Compaq Notebook PCs Using Mobile Intel Centrino Pro Chipset May Require BIOS Update" (Document Number c01490939 on the HP website). |
