ENHANCEMENTS:
The following enhancements have been made in BIOS version 2.85:
- Includes enhancements to mitigate security vulnerabilities CVE-2022-31635,
CVE-2022-31636, CVE-2022-31637, CVE-2022-31638, and CVE-2022-31639.
- HP strongly recommends promptly transitioning to this updated BIOS version.
- Adds SMBIOS System Enclosure or Chassis (Type 3) entry.

FIXES:
The following fixes have been made in BIOS version 2.85:
- Fixes an issue where Network BIOS Update would fail in Legacy mode.
- Fixes an issue where system would not boot with a certain PCIe serial card
installed.
- Fixes a performance issue with a certain PCIe FireWire card.

HOW TO USE:
1. Download the file by clicking the "Download" or "Obtain Software" button and
saving the file to a folder on your hard drive (make a note of the folder where
the downloaded file is saved).
2. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to
unpack the files to C:\SWSETUP\SP141585
3. Alternatively, select the Copy option from the GUI, the BIOS binary file is
located in the following directory: C:\SWSETUP\SP141585\HPBIOSUPDREC
4. Copy the binary to the following directory on the USB key: drive
letter\Hewlett-Packard\BIOS\New
5. Insert the USB key into the workstation that is to be updated and reboot or
boot the unit to the Startup menu by pressing Esc during POST (before the OS
loads).
6. Use the arrow keys to select the "Flash System Bios" option. Follow the
prompts to update the BIOS. Alternatively, the "Flash System Bios" feature is
available in BIOS Setup from the Main menu.
