Preview Window

The Preview Window displays a preview of the scanned image or document. When you click Preview, the source image or document is scanned at low resolution. A low-resolution copy of the original image is displayed to let you see the whole page you get from the scanner. The Preview Window includes the tools that let you zoom, rotate and flip images and auto-select the image scanning area. The result of the operation you applied to image is displayed in the image preview.

Zoom In, Zoom Out
You can zoom in/out the image scanned at lower resolution. Zooming the image in increases magnification and provides a close-up view of your image. Zooming the image out decreases magnification and lets you see more of the image at a reduced size. Zooming tools change your preview of an image. These actions do not modify the image itself, only your view of it.
Rotate CW, Rotate CCW
You can rotate the image clockwise or counter-clockwise. To rotate the image 90º clockwise apply Rotate CW once. To rotate the original image 180º or 270º, you can apply Rotate CW twice or three times.
Flip Horizontally, Flip Vertically
You can flip the image horizontally or vertically
Select Area
You can manually or automatically select the area to be scanned. To automatically select the image area to scan, follow these steps.
